CA IPCC course is the second level of the ca course to become a chartered accountant. The institute of chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)conducts the exams for the IPCC, twice a year i.e. in the month of May and November.
On the basis of the eligibility criteria, a passed senior secondary or 12th class and CA foundation. A student who appeared without CA Foundation, Commerce Graduates/ postgraduates with at least a 55% aggregate or equivalent score can apply for this entry route. Graduates/ postgraduates from non-commerce fields must have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate or its equivalent grade in any recognized university examination (including Open University).a Students who pursuing their final year can register on a provisional basis.
The complete ICAI IPCC syllabus is divided into 2 Groups:
1st Group subjects: Accounting, corporate & other Laws, cost Accounting & management, Taxation
2nd Group subjects: Advance Accounting, Auditing &Assurance, Information Technology, and strategic management, Financial Management & Economics for Finance
In the IPCC all papers are subjective and there is no negative marketing in the exam , with 40% of marks in individual and 50% marks in aggregate.
Aside from that, they must complete computer-related training and an Orientation Course (OC) to improve their technology and soft skills.
1 Information Technology Training (ITT):
- Computer & software training
- About 40 days training
- Registration fees is 5000 Approx
2 Orientation Program (OP)
- Skills like PD,grooming ,office etiquttes are developed
- Aboout 15 days training
After IPCC exams the Training is compulsory and before the Articleship the 4 weeks integrated course of ITT & soft information skills are compulsory.
Article ship is not acceptable without Any of the two
After passing the first level, which consists of the CA Foundation Exam and the first group of Intermediate Course, students are qualified to begin their articleship with a CA firm or a practicing CA.
Aside from these exams, a student must complete three years of practical training, also known as an ‘Articleship’.
Article ship:
- 3 years of training
- after clearing group 1/2 or both
- after completion of ITT & OP
After they complete their three years of practical training, they must clear their CA final exams.
